FG appoints directors in aviation agencies

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has announced the names of the newly appointed directors of the agencies under the ministry.

According to him, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMeT), has Prof. Vincent Ezikornwor, as Director, Weather Services, while Prof. Odjugo Ovuyovwiroye is Director of Research and Trainin. Also named is Onyegbule Amarachi, Director, Meteorological Services, Abdulkareem Olayinka, Director, Engineering and Technical Services and Funke Arowojobe is Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection.

Others are Shola Gabriel, Director, Legal Services/Company Secretary, Nasiru Sani, Director, Human Resources and Administration, Alex Yusuf, Director, Finance and Accounts and Airiohuodion Omonzojie and Director, Corporate Services. At the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Balang Godwin was appointed Director, Aerodromes and Airspace Standards, Yinka Boboye, Director, Air Transport Regulations, Capt. Donald Spiff, Director, Operations, Licensing and Training, Micheal Achimugu, Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Omogo Chinedu, Director AVSEC Regulation, Olufemi Odukoya, Director, Finance and Accounts. The other appointees are Victor Goyea, Director, Airworthiness Standards, Mary Tufano, Director, Legal Services/Company Secretary, Anastasia Gbem, Human Resources and Administration, Horatius Egwa, Director, Special Duties and Rebecca Aghadinazu, Director, Corporate Services.

At the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, Muonemeh Lotenna is Director, Finance and Accounts, John Tayo, Director of Operations, Abimbola Ladipo, Director, Human Resources and Administration, Ijeoma Iheanacho, Safety Electronic and Engineering Services, Rita Egbadon, Director, Legal Services/Company Secretary, Abdulahi Musa, Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Abba Ahmad, Director, Special Duties, Ibrahim Aliyu, Director, Corporate Services.

Those appointed at the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), are Abdulahi Babanya, Director, Engineering Services, Odita Isioma, Director of Operations, Nwobu Patrick, Director, Transport Investigation Services/Company Secretary, Esosa Eremwanarua, Director, Legal, Lawal Abdulmumin, Director, Human Resources, Bimbo Oladeji, Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Okundaye Folake, Director, Fiance and Accounts and Baro Minabowanre, Director, Corporate Services.

At the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Muniru Abiola was appointed Director, Engineering Services, Capt. Abdullahi Mohmood, Director, Airport Operations, Ayodele Olatiregun, Director, Finance and Accounts, Luqman Eniola, Director, Human Resources and Administration, Igbafe Afegbai, Director, Aviation Security Services, Bridget Gold, Director, Legal Services/ Company Secretary, Jensen Asaba, Director, Corporate Services, Obiageli Orah, Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire, Director, Special Duties, Adebola, Agunbiade, Director, Commercial and Business Development. All appointment  is with immediate effect.

Also a new Directorate called the Cargo Services has been created at the Federal Airport Authority of Nige- ria to ameliorate issues besetting the sector.
