Kebbi State Governor Dr Nasir Idris has vowed to throw out of his administration any member of the committee responsible for distributing federal palliatives found diverting the items.
Idris,who stated this during his 100 days briefing with newsmen, traditional rulers and stakeholders in Birnin Kebbi,insisted that his administration are committed to do justice and fair to the people of the state and utilization of resources.
He said: Our politicians,we want you to be more patient. This administration will soon constitute Board and Parastatal members. We would also add Senior Special Advisers(SSAs) and Senior Advisers (SAs,)so that our people will have sense of belonging.
“This administration is administration of justice and fair play. We would make sure that we do justice to resources that are coming to the purse of the state.
‘And on the distribution of assorted grains,we have constituted committee,the way we constituted committee when we distributed fertilizers worth N2.8 billion that we distributed to our farmers.
“This committee is going to be a powerful committee and I want to implore the Committee to ensure that they do justice in the course of distribution of these grains to the masses of this state.
“This administration will not hesitate to deal with people entrusted to distribute these grains,assorted grains, diverted it to another means,they will be shown a way out.
“Anybody that we found denying our people what they suppose to get,I want to assure you that,we would shown him his way out. Like I always say,we would try as much as we can to do justice to the people of the state”, he said.
Governor who acknowledged the supports he has been receiving from traditional rulers,stakeholders, security agencies and party members, disclosed that his administration would evenly distributed capital projects across the headquarters of each four Emirates in the state
He explained that his administration would soon award contract for the rehabilitation of General Hospitals across the state with modal equipment,stressed that problem on portable water in the state would soon be the issue of the past.
Idris assured the Traditional Rulers in the state that his administration would ensure that they do not lack anything irrespective of their locations.
