Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, yesterday told the Federal High Court in Lagos that, based on the petition that led to the trial of immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, he still reports to office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), from time to time.

Obanikoro told the court that reporting to the commission’s office was part of the conditions attached to the administrative bail granted him by the EFCC.

Fayose was arraigned by the EFCC on October 22, 2018, alongside Spotless Investment Limited, on on charges of N6.9 billion fraud.

Yesterday, at continuation of cross-examination by the second defence counsel, Mr. Olalekan Ojo (SAN), before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun, Obanikoro said that he was yet to be exonerated by the EFCC on the petition .
