Family of  murdered CDC chairman demands  justice

From TONY JOHN, Port Harcourt
The family of Mr.  Ndidi Livingstone, the Community Development Committe (CDC) Chairman of Mgboshimini in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area (LGA)  who was shot dead last weekend has called for justice over the killing of the breadwinner.
Livingstone was shot dead by unknown gunmen suspected to be cultist on Saturday night at the front of Peculiar  Faith Ministries (Christ Centre), Rumueme waterside, Mile 4, Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers state.
Mr. Godspower Livingstone, elder brother of the murdered CDC chairman told journalists that
his  brother was killed at the  waterside by four gunmen in Police uniform with AK-47 guns.
He said: “I  was in the house, I heard that my immediate younger  brother, Ndidi Livingstone,  has been shot dead at the gate of Peculiar Faith Ministries, his own  church at Rumueme waterside.
“People who saw them with highlander Jeep tinted glass on Police uniform said as they saw my brother they were trying to push him inside the vehicle. My brother opened the vehicle, saw somebody inside  and he came out.
“As my brother was struggling to go inside the church they finally shot him at his head and stomach.
“My call is that Police and other law enforcement  agencies should try and see what they can do towards the death of my our brother. We need justice.”
