Six years after his death, family and friends will today round up activities marking the death of the former Lobi Stars’ coach, late Samuel Ogbeide.
A statement from his wife, Ndidi Ogbeide, disclosed that the family was joined by friends at the church yesterday for the commemoration service, where prayers were offered for the deceased as well for the family and the children.
Today, the activities will climax with laying of writ at the burial site of the late coach.
It would be recalled that coach Ogbeide died in active service as coach of Lobi Stars of Makurdi on May 20, 2019.
Before his engagement with Lobi Stars, the late coach handled such teams as Bendel Insurance, Warri Wolves, Sharks and Bayelsa United.
