Below is excerpt of the interview:
Can we meet you?
My name is Olufemi O. Ikumapayi, popularly known as Eagle Personified. I am a Nigerian-born faith-based filmmaker, prophetic scribe, storyteller, and founder of ThroneVision Studios, a film house committed to merging spirituality, excellence, and African identity. I am also a registered member of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP), Nigeria, and Co-Founder of the newly established House of Peace School of Ministry (UK).
Tell us about your journey into faith-based storytelling, acting, and writing.
My creative journey is rooted in divine calling. Every script, book, film, or character I embody flows from encounters with the Holy Spirit. Writing, acting, and directing are not separate roles for me, they are unified expressions of the same mandate: to awaken destinies, reveal spiritual truth, and reform culture through storytelling.
What motivates your prophetic scribing and creative work?
Every inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit. As a prophetic scribe, my assignment is to document spiritual intelligence: Heaven’s messages, warnings, and revelations and present them in forms, so that people can see, feel, and experience. My works are not entertainment alone; they are spiritual sound waves designed to shift atmospheres.
What challenges have you encountered on this journey?
Pioneering anything spiritually charged in a highly secular industry comes with resistance. There have been funding limitations, skepticism, cultural misunderstandings, and the burden of carrying revelations people don’t initially understand.
How do you navigate these challenges?
By yielding to the Holy Spirit. He shows me when to move, when to wait, and who to trust. I also have a circle of intercessors, mentors, and creative partners who stand with me. That spiritual covering is priceless.
Your books carry deep prophetic insights. What birthed them?
Each book came through profound encounters: God’s Chessboard reveals God’s strategic moves in destiny.
Beyond the Veil uncovers mysteries about life, death, eternity, and the unseen world.
Genesis Before Genesis explores God’s blueprint before creation.
These are not ordinary books; they are prophetic manuals for a generation seeking clarity, identity, and purpose.
AYABA has now been released in cinemas. What impact do you hope it makes?
AYABA is not just a movie, it is a cultural and spiritual statement. Now showing in Viva Cinemas across Nigeria, it brings a prophetic edge to traditional African storytelling.
It blends kingdom truth, African heritage, and cinematic excellence in a way that breaks new ground. My expectation is that AYABA will: stir spiritual awakening, inspire bold creativity among African filmmakers, and open global doors for high-quality, prophetic, culturally rooted films. This is a new chapter for African faith-based cinema.
What is your projection for faith-based films going forward?
Faith-based cinema is shifting. Audiences no longer want shallow moral stories — they want depth, revelation, authenticity, and craft. I believe Africa will soon become the global hub for prophetic, spiritually intelligent films that speak to culture, destiny, and transformation.
What would you consider your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is my prophetic sensitivity — the ability to hear God per project, per season. That clarity fuels bold decisions, creative direction, and innovation. Without the Holy Spirit, nothing else works.
Your message to the younger generation?
You were born to soar. You are not ordinary, you are an eagle. Don’t crawl in life when God has given you wings. Stay aligned with the Holy Spirit, embrace your identity in Christ, and boldly pursue purpose with excellence. You are the generation that will influence systems and shake nations.
