Eze Igbo Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos, Michael Ezekwobi has congratulated the new Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, on the ratification of his selection as Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide president general.
In a statement, the Eze described Iwuanyanwu as a politician and business mogul who would use his connection to move the Igbo race forward.
While charging the new president general to unite Ndigbo, Ezekwobi said Ndigbo are currently facing many social political problems that need urgent attention and solutions.
Ezekwobi urges Iwuanyanwu to continue from where the late president general, George Obiozor, stopped by putting interest of Ndigbo in the front burner.
The Eze also urged him to make moves that would result in the release of Indigenous People of Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu from detention.
