Eze Igbo Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos, Michael Ezekwobi, has called on Nigerians to continue to embrace peace as the only medium of settling the sociopolitical problems facing the nation.
In his Easter message, Ezekwobi, Oyioma natumbaNdigbo gbaa gburugburu, said the death of Christ covered a multitude of sins, and with his resurrection, old things have passed away.
“As such, we should eschew any attitude that could heighten tension in the land,” he noted.
While commending Igbo in Ifako Ijaiye for their peaceful conduct during and after the election, he urged them to continue to cooperate with the state government by going about their lawful business.
On the difficult economic problem facing the nation, Ezekwobi urged the FG to come out with economic policies that would help alleviate the problems.
