Progress Stephen, popularly known as LUE, is the founder and CEO of Luelink, the No. 1 go-to platform for social predictions that helps people settle both physical and online wagers, challenges, and bets among themselves.
LUE’s interest in technology began long before the creation of Luelink. From a young age, he was already learning programming and building websites, eventually working on digital platforms for different companies.
By the time he reached his second year at the university, he decided to build something of his own.
Around 2021/2022, LUE launched Luevin, a social platform created to connect students who were involved in business. The platform allowed student entrepreneurs to showcase their products, meet other students, and sell within their campus community.
The response came quickly.
Within the first 24 hours of launch, Luevin gained more than 1,000 users, showing strong early traction among students.
Encouraged by the response, LUE continued experimenting with new digital ventures. He later created Zeebrod and also founded NewnaijaUpdate, a blog known for publishing daily news and trending songs, which built a growing online audience.
Through these projects, LUE gained early experience in building platforms, growing online communities, and understanding how digital products scale through user engagement.
The idea for Luelink came from a problem he noticed repeatedly in everyday social settings.
Spending time around game centres, viewing centres, and competitive hangout spots, he observed how people frequently placed wagers on games like chess, video games , snooker and even online sport ,entertainment, political and social banter predictions . But when the game ended, disputes often followed, especially when the losing party refused to honor the original agreement.
To LUE, the problem was clear: there was no trusted system that could fairly enforce wagers and challenges between individuals.
While researching existing solutions, he discovered platforms like Polymarket, which focus on predicting global events. However, those platforms were built for large public predictions, not everyday peer-to-peer challenges.
Seeing this gap, LUE began working on a new solution.
In 2025, he started building Luelink, a platform designed to allow people create social predictions, place wagers, and settle challenges in a structured and transparent way.
Today, LUE continues to lead the development of Luelink with a simple vision: to create a trusted platform where people can compete, predict outcomes, and settle wagers fairly—both online and in real life.
For him, Luelink is more than a product. It is a system designed to bring clarity, fairness, and trust to everyday competition.
