Uzoma Day Omenka, former manager of the late reggae icon, Majek Fashek, is gradually but steadily stamping his feet on Europe’s music scene.

Uzo and his Miracle Day Music band held the crowd spellbound with their performances at Nigeria Festival UK held on Saturday, June 7 at Vauxhall London. This led to a member of House of Commons, Florence Eshalomi, inviting Uzo to come and perform at the parliament.

Speaking, Uzo said: “When I came on stage, I didn’t expect the overwhelming love I got from the fans. My unity song and other songs got the same ovation. Even the wife of the Nigerian ambassador in the UK was very impressed. I thank MP Eshalomi who graced the occasion and I promise her and other parliamentarians the thrill of a lifetime when I come to perform at the House of Commons. I also thank the organisers of the festival, Ambassador Yemi Soile and Madam Irene Eribo-Ani. Honestly, the demand is high, as I would soon be touring other countries like Rwanda, South Africa and Australia. I thank my band members, especially Sammy who mesmerized the crowd with his guitar works and Femi Shokan, my UK tour promoter/management.”
