Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola stated that his team’s 1-0 loss against Nottingham Forest was due to a single moment of transition.
Callum Hudson-Odoi sprinted down the right and slipped his shot past Ederson with the game about to conclude goalless at the City Ground.
“Tight game, we controlled the long balls to [Chris] Wood and second balls in transition,” Guardiola told BBC Match of the Day.

“But in the second half, we lost once in transition, and Callum Hudson-Odoi finished it really well.
“It is not easy to play against them. That is why they are where they are.
“We had three or four chances in the first half. In the second half, it was a bit tighter. We conceded one chance at the near post, so in the end, the balance was for them.”
Guardiola’s men remain in fourth spot with 47 points but could be overtaken if both Chelsea and Newcastle United win their matches.
