Enugu CP felicitates Christians, assures festive security

Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Mamman Giwa, has felicitated Christians and residents as they celebrate this year’s Christmas.

Giwa conveyed the goodwill in a Christmas message he personally signed, yesterday, in Enugu.

He described Christmas as a momentous celebration, reminding humanity of the birth of Jesus Christ, bringing salvation, hope, love and redemption to believers.

The police boss urged Christians to celebrate with hope, showing love, charity and kindness, especially to the needy, remembering Christ as the reason for the season.

“I reiterate the unwavering commitment of the police to ensure the safety and security of all residents and visitors during the festive period.

“While wishing all a merry Christmas, I urge citizens to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and promptly report suspicious persons or criminal activities.”
