In just 72 hours it will be Christmas, the long awaited day. It is a time of joy, love and togetherness. A time when people gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also a season of thankful disposition by all. A time of gratitude. Surviving the past 11 months and three weeks of the year calls for celebration. Christmas heralds all year-end celebrations and bring them into one happy place. Therefore, it should be enjoyed to the fullest. All should make the best of it and enjoy the fantastic season.
For whatever that works for different people, kindly note that celebration must not be attached to financial value only. Find out what will make you enjoy your Christmas. To some, the sight seeing alone is Christmas being celebrated. One wonders the magic and connectivity why people travel from far and wide to be with loved ones during the yuletide. The grand finale of travelling or visiting each other at such seasons is the free enjoyment for all. Both parties look forward to such occasions at all times.
Once was when Obikwere’s family who were very accomplished returned to their village in Awka, Anambra state for Christmas. The two smart daughters refused to return to the city with their parents because of the special treatment from their grandparents especially after enjoying the freedom of playing in front of the house at will. In the same vein, 75 years old Pa Nicholas Nnam was taken to Abuja by his children in the early December for proper health care. He has this hearing challenge which he has battled for years. After seeing the doctor, he was booked for an ear surgery. He simply told his son… “I will not spend Christmas in Abuja, would rather go home and spend Christmas. It is not a season a man spends outside his home.”
His son Emmanuel wondered what his aged father has not seen over the years with Christmas; but his father told him point blank that he will not spend Christmas outside his dominion. There is a special joy in the season that people should enjoy.

Dr. Clemson told in an interview that when he completed his four-flats, two-storey building situated towards Lagos-Badagry expressway, he rented it out in bits to care of particular needs including Christmas expenses. “I rented out the first floor to take care of my children’s heavy school fees in September. One of the flats takes care of my personal needs while the last one takes care of my Christmas expenses and merriments.
In all manner of enjoyment for the season, children are not left out of the Christmas clothes and accessories from their parents. They will always get special treatment like going for sight seeing, visiting the shopping malls and picking a few gifts for themselves.
