Wife of the Kaduna State governor, Hajiya Ummi Aisha El-rufai, has said she is not impressed with turnout of voters so far at the polling unit 024(A), Runka Street, Kaduna North, Ungwan Sarkin area, but quickly added that she hopes that more voters will turn up before full commencement of voting.

Speaking to journalists from the queue as at 8.45am, Mrs El-rufai added that the most important thing is that there is peace at the polling unit.

Her husband is also being expected to vote at the polling unit as his arrival is being waited.

According to Ummi, “I am not so pleased with the turnout so far, but I have the belief that people will soon come out more than this to cast their votes. But I like the peaceful atmosphere.”
