The Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ekiti State, Barr Paul Omotoso, is dead.
The Imesi Ekiti -born politician reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.
He was said to have been in the office on Tuesday and left in the evening.
He was said to have complained that he was feeling feverish in the evening and was rushed to a hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.
The late chairman was kidnapped in July 2023 and was released after some days.
