The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Youth and Student Matters, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon. Bashiru Gegu.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the celebration, Nihi described Gegu as a public servant who has contributed to grassroots development and youth-related initiatives in the state.
He said the commissioner has maintained involvement in efforts aimed at supporting young people and promoting community development across Kogi State.

“On behalf of the youths and students of Kogi State, I congratulate Hon. Bashiru Gegu on the occasion of Eid Mubarak. His commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive leadership is noted,” he said.
Nihi also called for prayers for peace and unity during the Eid-el-Kabir period, urging residents of Kogi State and Nigerians to use the occasion to promote tolerance, sacrifice, and mutual understanding.
He further prayed for continued strength and wisdom for the commissioner in the discharge of his responsibilities.
