Eguavoen, Nkwocha, Babajide salute Falcons

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Director, Austin Eguavoen has congratulated the Super Falcons for their qualification into the round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The Ex international and former Super Eagles coach took to twitter to hail the girls and their coaching crew.

“Congratulations to our Queens! Well done Randy Waldrum and the entire backroom staff. We keep going,” Eguavoen tweeted.

Meanwhile Nigerian and African legend Perpetua Nkwocha has sent a congratulatory message to the Super Falcons.

The four-time African Footballer of the Year who scored 80 goals in 99 appearances for Nigeria took to her face book page in celebration of the Falcons progress to the round of 16 at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

“ They did it . On to the next stage .Congratulations Ladies .Congratulations #Naija” she posted.

Still in the spirit of celebrating the Nigerian girls, former Liverpool women’s team forward, Rinsola Babajide, has joined millions of football lovers all over the world to salute the nine-time African champions.

 Babajide, who now plays for Spanish club Tenerife, wrote on Twitter: “Big up the Super Falcons for getting through to the round of 16.”
