Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 arrested 47 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Benin City, Edo State.
Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Dele Oyewale said in a short statement on Tuesday.
According to him, the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Other News
He listed the items recovered from them at the point of arrest to include five exotic cars, smartphones and laptop computers.
They would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded, he added.
