Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, arrested 22 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations within Benin City.
According to Head, Media & Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the suspects were arrested based on actionable intelligence regarding their suspected involvement in internet- related fraud.
He said that Items recovered from them included 10 exotic cars, laptops and phones
He said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
