Edo Guber: VVSG Roots for Okpebholo, Inaugurates Committee

The Akwa Ibom State Victory Voice Support Group (VVSG) has inaugurated a committee to mobilize support for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Monday Okpebholo, in the upcoming elections.

The inauguration, which took place in Benin City, saw Hon. Lucky Agazuma, the national president of the group, emphasize the importance of Edo residents in Akwa Ibom participating in the elections. He stated that despite residing in Akwa Ibom, they have a vested interest in the governance of their state of origin and will be returning to Edo to cast their votes for Senator Okpebholo.

Agazuma highlighted the group’s belief that Senator Okpebholo possesses the qualities necessary for an inclusive government. He said that the newly elected executive committee has been tasked with galvanizing other Edo residents in Akwa Ibom to support the APC candidate.

The newly elected executives include Comrade Godwin Roland Essang (State Coordinator), Collins Etim Akan (State Secretary General), DR. Mrs. Esther Williams (State Women Leader), Ms. Imaobong Ime Abraham (State Treasurer), Mr. Sunday Owen (State Mobilization and Contact Secretary), Comrade Usen Udo (State Publicity Secretary), Arch. Essien Joseph (State Organizing Secretary), Sir Emmanuel Essien (State Adviser on People with Disability), and Comrade Uwem Gabriel Smart (State Security and Protocols).

With the committee in place, the VVSG is confident in its ability to mobilize support for Senator Okpebholo in the upcoming governorship election.
