Eden Venture Group holds summit to address rising maternal,

Following Nigeria’s continuous rise in maternal and newborn death rates, there has never been a more pressing time to demand quick action. This call to action is what prompted Eden Venture Group (EVG), a visionary creative agency focused on social impact, to organise a summit to address this troubling trend.

The meeting tagged Maternal Newborn and Child Health [MNCH] Transforming Together Summit would involve a strategic three-pronged approach focused on community engagement programming, digital media content, and stakeholder engagement sessions. Eve Maja, EVG’s spokesperson disclosed that the project aims to address the root causes and barriers hindering access to quality healthcare services for mothers and children in the region – bridging the gap between innovation and impact.

According to Maja, the Transforming Together Summit will kick off in Lagos on the 12th of March, 2024, at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos; followed by another event in Abuja on the 22nd of March, 2024, at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Center, Abuja, FCT.

Maja added that the sessions will serve as platforms for key stakeholders, including government representatives, NGOs, private sector members, medical professionals, and the general public, to engage in crucial discussions, share insights, and work towards actionable solutions to improve MNCH in Nigeria.
