A real estate expert, Oba Ayobami Adelani has called on Nigerians to invest in land and property in order to protect and save their hard-earned income from depreciation, particularly in the face of the current economic downturn in the country.
Adelani noted that as land and property remain arguably the only assets that increase in values as the economy shrinks, Nigerians can save themselves from economic hassles by tapping into financial benefits inherent in investment land ownership.
The real estate developer who is the Chairman of IAS Unique Homes and Properties, made the call at the weekend while speaking with newsmen on the sidelines of the 8th year commemoration of the company, held in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Adelani emphasized that investing in land is one of the wisest decisions to preserve the value of investment and secure the future, saying values of land appreciate within a short duration of time.
He disclosed tha IAS Unique Homes would be marking its 8th year anniversary with a discounted fifty (50) plots of land at its Bluestone City Estate, Wasinmi, Ogun State.
While saying that the real estate outfit would be celebrating eight years of making a positive impact on the housing sector of the country, Adelani encouraged Nigerians to take advantage of the land facility in the estate with its proximity to Lagos.
He listed incentives and benefits for investors in the estate to include security, fence, electricity, drainage, internal road, water among other facilities.
“Owning land is a valuable long term investment, as its value appreciates over time, providing a sense of security and permanence.
“This Bluestone City is a great opportunity to own a land in Ogun State with about forty five minutes drive to Lagos. There is a flexible payment plan as one can pay at once, or pay fifty percent and subsequently balance on instalment in six months.
“I can assure you that in a few months the value of the land quadruple, he said.
