The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL ) has appealed to the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, to address calls by residents of the state to reconstitute his cabinet even as the 60 days enshrined by the constitution elapsed next week since he sacked members of his executives.
Presidet General of COSEYL, Goodluck Ibem in a statement he released to newsmen on Sunday said residents of the State are waiting on the reconstitution of his cabinet to cushion the effects of hardship experienced in the State and country.
Ibem said ” We know the country is experiencing a lot of hardship and that is why we are calling on Governor Hope Uzodinma to listen to the people and reconstitute his cabinet.
“The geeral believe is that if he does that, the aides will commence their work and projects proposed will help impact on the economy of the people, money will exchange from hand to the other”.
Ibem has also urged the governor to expedite action in the election of the local government chairmen in the States. This he also opined will help in the creation of more jobs and opportunities for those in the rural areas.
“He has also promised to elect local government chairmen soon,we pray he does that, this will equally help in creating job opportunities for the youths in the state,” Ibem stated.
