From Uchenna Inya, Abakaliki
A 21-year-old pregnant woman in Imogo, Igbudu, Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Mrs. Ozoemena Ugbega, has died after being swept away by flood.
There was downpour that lasted for days which caused flooding in some parts of the state including Ikwo, Izzi, Abakaliki and other local government areas.
Two persons were said to be missing.
The Commissioner for Human Capital Development, Mrs. Ann Aligwe, confirmed the incidents to Daily Sun.
