Former House of Assembly leader in Ebonyi State, Chief Emmanuel Ikechukwu Nwobo, has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Nwobo dumped PDP, a platform where he was elected the member of the state House of Assembly and joined the Labour Party in 2022.
He has, however, dumped the Labour Party for ADC. Nwobo registered for the party in his ward at the weekend.
The state Chairman of the ADC, Dr. Adibe-Nwafor Jenifer, confirmed his defection to the party.
She said Nwobo has officially registered for the party in his ward.
