Says patience of Nigerians will lead to good harvest

President Bola Tinubu has said that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity is an emphatic lesson for leaders and all Nigerians to yield to selflessness and compassion, and be steadfast in the pursuit of a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation.

In his message to Christian faithful at Easter, he said it is a significant moment and a glorious celebration of the triumph of life over death.

According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President greeted Christians in Nigeria and around the world on this occasion, emphasising love, sacrifice, and compassion as the patent themes of this solemn season.

While expressing gratitude to Nigerians, President Tinubu assured them that their patience is paying off and that an abundance of good harvest will soon follow.

He also highlighted the sacrifices made by the Nigerian people in recent months to guide the country towards recovery and sustainable growth.

“As Christians celebrate the victory of life over death as exemplified by the resurrection of Christ, President Tinubu assured all citizens that Nigeria will triumph over its challenges as his administration remains firmly committed to this end.

“The President wishes Nigerians, Happy Easter,” Ngelale wrote.
