The Eze Ndigbo Ifako Ijaiye, Michael Ezekwobi (Oyioma la tumba Ndigbo Gbaagburugburu) has felicitated Ndigbo Ifako Ijaye, Lagos State at Easter.

In a statement, Ezekwobi called on them to use the opportunity to pray for peace in Ifako, Lagos and Nigeria, as a whole.

While urging them to emulate the sterling quality of love from Jesus Christ, he said Christ died for our sins because of the love He has for humanity. “As such, we should also show love to our neighbours by always looking out for good in them.”

On the economic hardship, Ezekwobi blamed it on bad governance and lack of will on the part of Nigerians to go into farming. The Anambra-born monarch prayed for peace and prosperity for Nigerians, while assuring that he would continue to promote Igbo culture in the Diaspora.
