Ambassador-designate, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has congratulated new Inspector-General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu, describing him as a brilliant intellectual and eagle-eyed law enforcement officer.
Disu, previously Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Force CID Annex, Lagos, replaced Kayode Egbetokun as IGP on Tuesday.

In a statement, Fani-Kayode said, “Congratulations to Olatunji Rilwan Disu on his appointment as the Inspector-General of the Nigerian Police Force.
“A brilliant writer and artist and a formidable intellectual he is also a focused, effective, fair-minded and eagle-eyed law enforcement officer.
“I am so proud of you my brother. May God guide and lead you in this great assignment which has been bestowed upon you at this auspicious time. Godspeed.”
