The Digital Market belongs to the young generation since the African population is dominated by young people which is growing rapidly.

Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and consumer protection commission Mr. Babatunde Irukera made this disclosure yesterday in Abja during the FCCPC, National Young Consumer Contest and Award 2023 with the theme “Fair Digital Finance”.

According to him the old people whom he described as analogue were the problem explaining that Nigeria cannot catch up with the world by building more schools but by Digital Technology, which is the thing in the world.

Speaking about patients right Irukera stated that patients should be treated with respect and dignity without prejudice to gender, religion race, ethnicity allegation of crimes, geographical location, disability or socioeconomic circumstances.

“That prior wishes of the patient or in the absence of same of the next of kin where legally application are respected to the fullest extenpractical last offices at the time of death including cultural or religions preferences, to the extent consistent with extant laws including coroner laws.

There were side attractions during the event by the students like drama, dancing competition where the students danced to the delight of the crowd.
