DG BPP briefs Tinubu on ongoing procurement reforms

Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Dr. Adebowale A. Adedokun, at the weekend paid a Sallah homage on President Bola Tinubu, at his Lagos residence as part of activities marking the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Adedokun disclosed that the visit afforded him the opportunity to brief Mr. President on the ongoing reforms and strategic initiatives being implemented at BPP towards strengthening transparency, accountability, and efficiency in Nigeria’s public procurement system.

He noted that the reforms are aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and value for money in public procurement across federal ministries, agencies.

“The visit also gave  me the opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda through institutional reforms that will enhance service delivery, promote fiscal discipline, and deepen public confidence in governance. I sincerely appreciate Mr. President for his continued support, leadership, and dedication to national development,” he said.
