The Board and Management of logistics firm, Myto Limited, has said it intends to support the Federal Government in tackling the number of unemployed individuals by employing 500 Nigerians.

The Business and Brand Manager, Myto Limited, Sayo Olonilua, stated this during the launch in Lagos recently.

Whilst stating that DeliveryLinkNG would be operating in the Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) segment of the logistics industry, which is the segment that specialises in moving small goods, parcels and packages, Olonilua said the company’s vision is to be the  leading platform that revolutionises the delivery industry, providing seamless and efficient logistics solutions for individuals and businesses, said it will set out to employ an average of 500 people in a bid to play its part in reducing the number of unemployed persons in the country.

She noted that customers remain at the forefront of the company’s priority, adding that the company will be expanding into the cargo and shipping business soon.

Also speaking at the launch, the Team Lead, DeliverylinkNG, Dele Oriyomi, said the app was built to connect individuals and businesses that need to move goods of all sizes, with a wide range of transportation and logistics options such as bicycles, bikes, cars, van, trucks, among others.

According to him, the app was borne out of a need to put a structure in the operations of dispatch and delivery services in Nigeria as the small-scale delivery process in Nigeria is somewhat unorganized.

He said, “Often times, when we need to send or receive a package, or move from one apartment to the other, we depend on referrals from friends and family on reliable vendors. Other times, we go the extra mile to visit parks or cluster locations of these bikes/trucks. As such, we felt the need to introduce a structure around how logistics operates, which is how DeliveryLinkNG came about.

Through DeliveryLinkNG, we are developing and deploying tailored solutions to address key pain points that stakeholders in the delivery space have suffered. We are creating real value for stakeholders while using customers’ satisfaction as our focal point.”

He stated that the app contains a dashboard for customers and service providers where they can manage orders, vehicles, drivers and customers, all in one place.

Dele added that unlike its competitors, DeliveryLinkNG allows service providers and customers to bargain and agree at a price, and does not charge commissions or share from the sales of delivery service providers who signed up on the app.
