It has been confirmed that Nigerian afrobeat star, David Adeleke AKA Davido, and his wife Chioma welcomed twins in the United States.
The couple were spotted smiling with the twins; a boy and a girl, in a viral video on Friday as they were about leaving the hospital.
The news was first shared by Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu on October 10, 2023, via a Facebook chat with Davido on his church’s official page.
While another person to share the news is music executive, Ovie, he confirmed the news in a post via X on Tuesday, writing: “Confirmed. Davido and Chioma Double blessings.”
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo also shared a video of the afrobeat musician Davido and wife, Chioma in the United States hospital congratulating the couple.
Other celebrities like Victoria Inyama, Junior Pope and Daddy Freeze were among others who congratulated the couple over their ‘bundles of joy’.

Recall that one year ago, the couple lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke in a tragic circumstance.
According to reports, the three-year-old drowned in his father’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos and was underwater for an unspecified period before he was spotted.
The little boy who turned three on October 20, was rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state, where he was confirmed dead.
Davido and the mother were said to have travelled for a family gathering in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday and left Ifeanyi with his minders.
