Dana Motors Limited, a leading assembler of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and electric vehicles (EVs), reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable mobility and automotive innovation at the just-concluded Abuja Motor Fair 2025.

The brand drew significant attention as it unveiled an impressive lineup of its latest electric and CNG-powered vehicles, including the locally assembled EV9, EV5, MPVs, and Mini EVs.

Fair attendees were thrilled by the vehicles’ modern features, advanced technology, and remarkable green efficiency—further emphasizing KIA’s dedication to cleaner, future-ready transportation for Nigeria.

Present to demonstrate President Tinubu’s strong commitment to the initiative were: Kingsley Udeh, Minister of Science and Technology who represented Vice President, Kashim Shettima; Chief Emma Eneukwu, Chairman, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) board; the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; and a host of other top dignitaries in attendance.

The turnout underscored the government’s strong support for the development of Nigeria’s automotive sector, especially in cleaner energy mobility solutions.

According to Omolade Akinyode, Marketing Manager, ”Dana Motors has highlighted its 80 percent local content strategy and ongoing efforts to deepen Nigeria’s automotive value chain. Through its expanding vehicle assembly operations, KIA continues to drive job creation, technical capacity development, and skills transfer for EV production in Nigeria.”

Akinyode assured that Dana Motors remains committed to supporting national policies on green transportation and accelerating Nigeria’s transition to affordable, efficient, and eco-friendly mobility.

The brand, she said, is a pioneering force in sustainable mobility, leading the nation’s transition to electric vehicles and Compressed Natural Gas solutions.

“With a growing vehicle assembly operation, strong local content strategy, and cutting-edge models built for Nigerian roads, DML is driving cleaner transportation, job creation, and technological advancement across the country,” the Dana Motors Marketing Manager remarked.
