Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Omolere Adejoke, Commander of the Nigeria Police Force Airwing Drone Unit, has received international recognition for her contributions to public service, leadership and innovation.

Adejoke was honoured with the Award of Honour at the Global Leaders and Business Awards (GLBA) held in London on May 30, 2026, in recognition of her outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment to public service.

The Commissioner of Police, Airwing, CP Nwogboh Martin, congratulated the senior police officer, describing the award as a reflection of the professionalism and innovation being entrenched within the Nigeria Police Force Airwing.

According to him, the recognition underscores the growing role of technology-driven policing in Nigeria and aligns with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to strengthen professionalism, innovation and operational efficiency across the Force.

As Force Drone Commander, Adejoke has led intelligence-driven drone surveillance operations that have supported crime prevention and enhanced security management in different parts of the country.

Reacting to the honour, Adejoke dedicated the award to members of her team and officers of the Airwing.

“This award isn’t mine alone. It belongs to every member of my team whose commitment, professionalism and support have shaped this journey. It also belongs to every officer in the Airwing who continues to embrace innovation as we strengthen the Nigeria Police Force’s air capability,” she said.

She also expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police for his leadership and support in advancing innovation within the Force.

“I am grateful to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for his leadership and for creating an environment that encourages innovation, professionalism and excellence in service.

“While I deeply appreciate this recognition, it also reminds me that there is still much work to be done. I remain committed to serving with integrity, pursuing excellence and creating meaningful impact,” she added.

Commending the award recipient, CP Martin said the recognition reflects the dedication of officers within the Airwing and the increasing importance of technology in modern policing.

He urged personnel of the Force to remain committed to professionalism, discipline and integrity as the Nigeria Police Force continues to strengthen its operational capabilities.
