Cristiano Ronaldo has shared details of his plans after retirement, hinting at being a club owner rather than a coach.

Ronaldo will be 40 in February but has not officially announced when he will retire amid his continued goal-scoring form in Al-Nassr.

The football icon crossed the 900 career goal mark earlier this season and plans to keep playing until he makes it 1,000.

Ronaldo, who was named Best Middle East player of 2024 at the Globe Soccer Awards, shared a glimpse of his plans.

“I’m not a coach. I’m never going to be a coach, president of the club? No. Maybe owner of the club,” he said.

When asked if he would own a club, Ronaldo replied: “Probably. I will see. It will depend on the moment, the right opportunities.”

Speaking on Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, Ronaldo stated: “If I will be the owner of the club, I will make the things clear and adjust what I think is bad there.

“I am still very young, I have so many plans and dreams ahead. Mark my words, I will be an owner of a big club. For sure.”
