Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has said that President Bola Tinubu would commission 39 projects executed by his administration to mark the 39th anniversary of the state’s creation in September.
Eno declared September as a month of gratitude and urged the people to unite in thanksgiving to celebrate the state’s 39th anniversary.
Speaking at the Victory Thanksgiving Service to mark the end of the 2026 Discovery Convention of All Nations Christians Ministry International in Eket, Eno said the 39 projects to be commissioned by President Tinubu during his official visit would cut across the 31 local government areas of the state.
He expressed gratitude to God, the clergy and members of the church for their steadfast support and commitment to the vision of the church.
He described the church members as his heroes, thanking them for believing in the All Nations vision and for giving him the privilege of leading them.
He also appreciated stakeholders and other supporters for their consistent support for the church and his administration.

Eno, who is also the founder and under-shepherd of the church, urged the people of the state to use September to reflect on God’s faithfulness to the state and join hands in thanksgiving.
“The 39th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service would hold on September 20 at the International Christian Worship Centre while a State Banquet to mark the anniversary would take place on September 23 at the new banquet hall of ARISE Palm Resort, providing an evening of gratitude and celebration.”
On the expected presidential visit to the state, Eno said the state was looking forward to an official visit by President Tinubu, who would commission some of the projects delivered by his administration.
“The visit would add significance to the 39th anniversary celebrations and I urge the people to pray for a successful visit of the president.”
