Crêpe, or crepe, is one fabric that has come to stay. Kudos to our designers who create distinctive styles from this class of luxurious fabrics. Crepe comes as silk, wool or synthetic fabric that has a distinctive wrinkled and bumpy appearance.
Crepes come in different vibrant colours. The qualities of crepe fabric makes it fun to work with, says Yewande Hakeem-Habeeb, the creative director of Qubraz Designs.
Crepe can be dyed, and it comes in floral designs and stripes, among others.
