A compendium detailing past and present Edo State legislators who served and those serving at the national Assembly as senators, members of the House of Representatives as well as state of assembly beginning from the first republic in 1963 to 2027, will soon be on the book shelf.
The book titled Compendium of Edo legislators from 1963 to 2027 is being compiled by a communication and management firm, Ayoks communications.
The Compendium which is being edited by Mr Dada Ayokhai, a former chief Press secretary to the speaker of the Edo state House of Assembly is meant to be a handbook and reference material.
In an interview with journalists, Mr Ayokhai, an alumnus of Mass communication, University of Lagos, said Compendium will capture and highlights those who are privileged to have served in the era of Midwest, Bendel and present Edo State.
According to him, the Compendium apart from being a reference materials will be in both soft and hard copy.
He added that the compendium is meant to preserve the Edo heritage.
