The 1977/82 set of the Ansar-Ud-Deen College, Isolo, Lagos holds its 40th graduation anniversary from Friday, January 13 to Sunday, January 15, 2023. The three-day event will also serve as a Class Reunion activity for members of the set.
Members of the set will use the first day, Friday 13th January 2022 to actualize the Giving to the Community and Alma Mater objectives by donating food and other items to the SOS Children Village, Isolo and donating project and school consumables to students of their alma mater. A Jumat Service will also hold in the school while a Friday Getaway will hold at a selected location in Lagos.
On Saturday, January 14, 2023, members will attend a picnic at Elegushi Beach after a visit to the Beggars Colony in Ebutte Metta to make donations of food packs to the beggars.
Sunday, January 15, 2023, would witness members attending a thanksgiving service at the St Paul’s Anglican Church, Ishagatedo, Isolo while an Anniversary Ball will hold later at the school Hall.
Seye Thomas, set chairman said the main essence of the event is to provide a platform for members to interact and bond with each other as well as felicitate with each other on achievements over the years since leaving the school in June 1982.
“We desire to celebrate each other, for being alive and what we have become in life,” he said.
