Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum has canvassed for religious harmony among the people, urging them to refrain from attempts to divide them along religious lines.

Zulum in his Christmas message on Monday said Borno and Nigerian society are mix of Christians and Muslims. He however alleged a few persons were making attempts to divide the state along religious lines.

“We must resist any attempt to divide us along religious lines, especially now that Borno is on the part of economic recovery, growth and development,” he warned in the statement.
