Thousands of Nigerians looking for easier ways to grow their money now have a new option following the launch of Hisa, a digital investment platform developed by Chaka Technologies Ltd.
Chaka, Nigeria’s first SEC-licensed digital sub-broker, unveiled the Hisa investment app as part of efforts to make investing simpler and more accessible for everyday people across Nigeria and Kenya.
The platform provides investors with access to Nigerian stocks, Kenyan stocks, and selected US stocks and ETFs through a single application.
According to the company, the new app replaces the former Chaka platform but allows existing users to retain their portfolios, transaction records, and login details without disruption.
The launch comes at a time when more young Africans are exploring investment opportunities as a way to build wealth and secure their financial future.
To support this growing interest, Hisa introduces features such as automated investing, after-hours trading, market research tools, faster trade execution, and transparent pricing.
The company said it adopted the name Hisa, which means shares in Swahili, to reflect its vision of creating an investing platform that serves investors across Africa.
Beyond the new identity, the company says its focus is on removing barriers that prevent many people from participating in the stock market.
For years, investing has been viewed by many as complex and difficult to understand. Hisa aims to simplify the process and help more people take their first steps toward investing.
While operations in Nigeria remain powered by Chaka Technologies Ltd, services in Kenya are supported through Risevest East Africa Ltd.
The company believes that as more Africans gain access to simple and transparent investment tools, participation in capital markets will continue to grow, creating new opportunities for wealth creation across the continent.
Hisa is now available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Existing Chaka users can simply update their app to access the new Hisa experience, while new users can sign up directly to begin investing.
