Ceylon marine to host Nigeria’s first boat exhibition

Ceylon Marine has concluded plans to host the first ever boat exhibition in Nigeria,  with a view to growing  the fishing sector of the Nigerian maritime industry.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Managing Director, Ceylon Marine , Mr. Chris Ajayi,  said events lined up for the exhibition  would include a pre-launch of  Ceylon mini-trawlers with massive discount to afford fishermen and women opportunity  to survey the mini trawler and its advantages over what is currently obtainable.

Ajayi also  revealed that  every  boat ordered from the exhibition would attract  additional resources such as  detailed feasibility study of the fishing business and  showing cash flow analysis and profitability.

“Other incentives for order according to him, include, facilitation of the provision of operational space at Fisheries terminal in Lagos, Apapa and any other terminal of interest in Nigeria.

“Training of crew members at no cost to the company on usage of modern Fishery tool like satellite technology for Fishing, use of fish finder and Echo sounder.

“As a way of encouraging potential investors, we offer 20% discount on the cost of acquisition of the Trawler if order is placed during the Exhibition. This opportunity is only open to the first twenty companies to place order.

“The Pre-launch Exhibition Ceylon’s  will hold at annex Boatyard Badore–Eleko beach, Lagos from July 12, 2023 to July 16,2023,” he said.
