CBN appoints new management for Union, Keystone, Polaris banks

Few hours after sacking the board of and management of Union, Keystone and Polaris Banks on Wednesday night, the CBN has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of the affected financial institutions.

For Union Bank, Yetunde Oni is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, while Mannir Ubali Ringim serves as the Executive Director.

At Keystone Bank, Hassan Imam is the new Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer and Chioma A. Mang becomes the new Executive Director.

Polaris Bank has Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, while Chris Onyeka Ofikulu new serves as the Executive Director.

According to a statement signed by CBN’s acting Director, Corporate Communications, Mrs Sidi Ali Hakama, the appointments take immediate effect.
