Voters are now stranded at Abagana Ward 4, Polling Unit 003 in Njikoka local government of Anambra State following the failure of a card reader.

A House of Representatives candidate of APDA, Adam Akonanya, told our correspondent that he and his people were at the polling unit earlier before 8am but were yet to do anything as at 11am because of the failure of the card reader.

He said when the INEC officials started at about 8am, they only attended to four persons before the card reader failed.

“Since then, our people have been here without any explanation; INEC officials are just saying we should exercise patience. Look at the time; now voting will end at 2pm.”
