Enyimba have been drawn to face Libyan side Al Ahli Benghazi in the 1st preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
At a draw ceremony held at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the Nigerian champions were pitted against the Benghazi-based side who finished runners- up of the Libyan Premier League.
First leg of the knockoutie is scheduled to hold in Benghazi on the third weekend of August while the return fixture will hold in Nigeria one week later.
In the two only previous meetings of the clubs, Enyimba defeated Ahli 2-1 in a Confession Cup group stage fixture in Aba in March 2021, while the Libyan side edged the reverse fixture 1-0 in Benghazi one month later
