Cadbury Nigeria Plc (Cadbury) has been named the overall winner of the HR Best Practices Awards 2024 at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) HR Oscar Awards.

The awards, known as the “HR Oscars,” celebrate outstanding human resource practices and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Managing Director of Cadbury Nigeria, Oyeyimika Adeboye speaking during the event in Abuja recently, expressed the company’s dedication to workforce development, stating, “We believe in continuously raising the bar as we strive to equip our workforce to become more relevant in the modern, technologically driven world.”

She was joined by Wole Odubayo, Cadbury’s Human Resources Director, who added, “We take pride in our end-to-end HR strategies and processes, and we leverage technology to deliver value to our employees.” Both executives received personal recognitions as “HR Champion 2024” and “HR Leader 2024,” respectively.

Cadbury Nigeria also took home the HR Optimisation Award in two categories: Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives and Adoption of Technology/Digital HR Initiatives. These accolades underscore the company’s advances in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and its innovation in digital HR processes to improve employee engagement.

In addition, Cadbury Nigeria recently earned four awards at the HR People Magazine Awards in Lagos, including Employer of Choice (under 1000 employees) and Outstanding Employee Engagement. Cadbury Nigeria’s HR success is built on strategies across 13 practice areas, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement.
