Electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Nigeria has premiered its new podcast series, “Hey BYD”, recorded inside the BYD Atto 3 electric vehicle.
The show takes podcasting out of the studio and onto Lagos roads, with conversations unfolding in real time as the car moves through the city.
Hosted by actor and filmmaker Ibrahim Suleiman, the podcast features relaxed discussions with guests about their careers, passions, and creative journeys. The mobile setting gives the series a spontaneous feel, with Lagos itself becoming part of the storytelling.
The premiere event brought together several personalities featured in the series, including actress Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, filmmaker and reality TV personality Elozonam Ogbolu, content creator Folustorms, actor Charles Born, and chef-storyteller Chef Amaka. Guests also enjoyed a comedy performance by Makinde David, which added energy to the evening.
Attendees had the chance to explore the BYD Atto 3 up close, learning more about the electric vehicle that doubles as the mobile set for the podcast.
