In a world where digital finance is rapidly transforming how people transact, Erioluwa Asiru is building systems that make it seamless, secure, and scalable.
As a software engineer and co-founder of CircleFunds, she has dedicated her career to designing fintech infrastructure that solves real-world problems while empowering users.
Erioluwa’s interest in technology began in childhood. “I was always curious about how software worked,” she recalls. That curiosity eventually evolved into a professional career, taking her through roles at Ikonik and Insomnia Labs where she led engineering projects and blockchain integrations, tackling some of the most complex challenges in fintech.
Her work at CircleFunds focuses on creating secure, scalable wallet systems. She emphasizes the importance of transactional security, high-volume handling, and user-friendly interfaces. “Building these systems is about balancing safety, reliability, and a seamless experience for users,” she explains. Her approach reflects a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of the digital finance landscape.
Beyond building technology, Erioluwa is committed to mentorship. Through Data Epic, she teaches Python, software development, and data analysis to aspiring engineers. “Mentoring allows me to share lessons learned, foster innovation, and inspire others to solve meaningful problems,” she says.
For Erioluwa, the future of fintech in Nigeria lies in combining secure systems with user empowerment. She advises young technologists, “Stay curious, keep learning, and view every challenge as an opportunity to innovate.” Her vision continues to shape CircleFunds and inspire a new wave of African tech leaders.
