AS sympathisers besieged the Ocholi residence, wife of the president, Aisha Buhari and that of the vice president, Dolapo Osinbajo yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family where they expressed shock over the deaths of the minister, his wife and son.

All roads around the residence were taken over by heavy vehicular traffic as members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), legal practitioners, friends and associates of the late minister continue to throng the residence.

Although newsmen were barred from covering the visit, it was gathered that Mrs Buhari was received by a member of the family, Paul Audu and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige.

Hajia Buhari simply wrote in the condolence register: “It is a terrible shock to us. We pray for the souls of the departed to rest in peace. May the Almighty God condole the family,” while Mrs Osinbajo wrote: “May their souls rest in perfect peace.”
