Buhari, Shettima, northern leaders in Katsina for UNDP security summit

Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Muhammadu Buhari, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, Governors from the North-West and some other northern leaders are in Katsina for a security summit being organised by the North-West Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The theme of the summit is “Regional Cooperation for Securing Lives and Livelihoods in North-West Nigeria.”

The vice president is expected to declare the two-day summit open at the Katsina Government House.

He had earlier commissioned a 16-bed capacity dialysis centre at the General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital in Batagarawa Local Government Area of the state.
